Peaches galore, the ideal spring and summer gift for foodies.
Knowing that peach season is nearly over I probably should have posted this earlier. But I wanted to wait until my second season and 4th box of peaches arrived. Hands down the peaches from the peach truck are the best peaches I have ever had. Large, perfectly ripe and juicy these beauties arrive on your doorstep ready to eat and bake with.
The Peach Truck is a family business that is also an internet sensation. About 2 years ago my mother sent me my first order. OMG! Like wow. Now I have to order these beauties every year. This year I got 2 deliveries. In my case they come by mail to my house. But if you visit their Facebook page or website you can pick up even larger orders from their truck tour. Unfortunately, the truck does not come anywhere near me.

As me what I made with these beautiful ripe peaches and I would tell you….this fresh peach crostata from Ina Garten, a peach cobbler, peach and burrata salad from What’s Gaby Cooking. I also I think I ate several peach/yogurt smoothies and made a few peach margaritas from fresh frozen slices. My classic recipe is here and I just add fresh frozen peach slices to the mix.
